Azure Cost Savings Assessment

Terms of Submission

Last updated: September 10, 2026

These terms govern the documents and information you submit to Opticca Consulting Inc. ("Opticca") for the Azure Cost Savings Assessment — whether through the chat assistant or the submission form on our site. By confirming your consent and submitting, you agree to them. They work alongside our Privacy Policy, which governs personal information.

1. What you're submitting

The assessment asks for exports produced from your organisation's own Azure environment — cost and usage data, Advisor recommendations, resource inventory, reservation and savings plan utilization — and a recent invoice or statement of account. The chat assistant and the form collect the same information and are treated identically under these terms. You choose what to include, and you may redact account numbers, contract numbers, purchase order numbers, remittance details, and negotiated pricing before submitting.

2. Your authority to share it

By submitting, you confirm that you are authorised to share these documents on behalf of your organisation, and that doing so does not breach any agreement your organisation is party to. If you are not sure you have that authority, do not submit — ask the owner of your Azure agreement first.

3. What we do with it

  • Your files are received by a designated senior consultant — not a shared inbox or a pool.
  • They are used for one purpose: producing your Azure cost savings report and communicating with you about it.
  • They are never sold, shared outside Opticca, or used to train anything.
  • Once your assessment is complete, the source files are deleted. We keep the report we produced; your data goes.

4. Confidentiality

We treat everything you submit as your organisation's confidential information, whether or not it is marked as such. Access is limited to the people working on your assessment. Where a submission includes personal information — resource tags carrying employee names or business contact details, for example — it is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian and Québec privacy law. In return, you agree not to submit information you don't have the right to share — including another organisation's confidential information or any personal information beyond ordinary business contact details.

5. What the report is — and isn't

The report is an informational analysis based on the data you provide, at the time you provide it. It is not financial, legal, or accounting advice, and findings are estimates that depend on the completeness and accuracy of your exports. Decisions you take based on the report are yours. The assessment is free, and Opticca's total liability arising from it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

6. If something is wrong with your files

If a file is missing, unreadable, or appears to contain something you likely didn't intend to send, we'll contact you at the email you provided before proceeding. If you submit something by mistake, email sales@opticca.com and we'll delete it and confirm. You may also, at any time, ask what we hold from your submission, request a correction, or withdraw it entirely — withdrawal ends the assessment and we delete your files.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and any dispute arising from a submission is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Montréal, Québec.

8. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms may be updated from time to time; the date above reflects the current version, and the version in effect when you submit is the one that applies to that submission.
