Position: Business Development Manager for Azure Clients & Services

Opticca Consulting delivers professional services in the following areas: Application Development, DevOps, Containers, and Cloud. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team. This person must bring an existing Azure client network with proven record and background of Azure sales development opportunities.

The ideal person for this position is an autonomous, self-driven professional, hungry for growth and accounts consolidation and expansion. Having an established network in North America is a MUST.

Job Description

Being a Business Development Manager at Opticca, your base responsibilities include

  • Proactively prospect new business opportunities with focus accounts via cold calls and emails
  • Manage and track opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with our Channel partners in finding, progressing and closing deals
  • Qualify, progress and close deals alongside Opticca partners to meet and exceed your own personal quota
  • Understand and communicate Opticca’s Azure service offerings
  • Support both internal and partner marketing campaigns and events
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Key responsibilities include

  • Speak or meet with key decision-makers of prospects to understand requirements and lead sales presentations
  • Develop innovate sales strategies and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Be responsible for client acquisition
  • Represent Opticca at various community and networking events for promotion
  • Create and maintain sales materials and social media activities
  • Report and provide feedback to management

Job skills you need to have include

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in leading Sales cycles for Azure- based solutions and successfully carrying quota (USD +500k annually)
  • Experience of solution-based selling in the Technology/IT sector
  • Proven track record of success (consistent quota achievement)
  • Proven sales methodology and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of CRM software (preferably Salesforce)
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize while achieving quota
  • Works well in a matrix organization
  • Ideally experience in indirect selling and working with Channel Partners
  • Creative problem-solving, strong interpersonal skills and willingness to take the initiative
  • Self-Motivated and persistent with a desire to grow with the company

Professional expectations

  • A proven existing network of prospects that you have established a trusted advisory role with
  • 6+ years of Business Development experience with a consultative sales approach, including 2 years of Azure clients and solutions dedicated experience
  • A solid technical background and be up to date with technologies – so you can have an intelligent conversation with key decision-makers
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms and modern open-source technology solutions
  • Proven solid sales track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Super communication skills both written and verbal
  • Have a passion for DevOps, Cloud, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
