Role Overview: As a Senior System Administrator, you will be at the forefront of managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance. The role will focus on administering Windows Servers, VMWare infrastructure, and Azure cloud services, along with supporting our network infrastructure and database systems. This position requires someone with a deep understanding of system administration, a proactive approach to system maintenance and troubleshooting, and a keen eye for optimizing IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage Windows Server environments (2012 to 2022), ensuring their reliability, performance, and security.

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VMWare ESXi, vSphere, and Veeam backup solutions to ensure virtual infrastructure efficiency.

• Manage Azure cloud services, including deployment, monitoring, and optimization of resources within the cloud environment.

• Upgrade existing Windows Server 2012 to 2022, ensuring seamless migration with minimal downtime.

• Configure and maintain IIS .Net applications, ensuring optimal performance and security.

• Assist in managing Cisco networking infrastructure, enhancing network performance and reliability.

• Support MS SQL database administration, including performance tuning, backup, and recovery processes.

• Collaborate with IT teams to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.

• Provide expert guidance and support for IT projects, including planning, execution, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Must have 10+ years of experience in system administration, with a strong focus on Windows Server environments (2012 to 2022), VMWare ESXi, vSphere, Veeam, and Azure.

• Proficiency in configuring and maintaining IIS .Net applications is required.

• Experience in upgrading Windows Server 2012 to 2022 is essential.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of Cisco networking and MS SQL database administration.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, VCP, Azure Administrator) are highly desirable.
